|APRIL 7, 2015 SPRING ELECTION|
Absentee voting for the April 7, 2015 Spring Election is available March 23 thru April 2, Monday-Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Fridays 8:00am to 12 noon, and on Friday April 3 from 8:00am to 5:00pm in the Village Clerks Office located in the Municipal Building, 138 E Main Street, Mount Horeb. Here is the sample ballot.
|DRAFT COMPREHENSIVE OUTDOOR RECREATION PLAN|
The Comprehensve Outdoor Recreation Plan for the Village of Mount Horeb is in the process of being updated to reflect current conditions and provide a clear vision for the future of Mount Horeb's park, recreation, and open space system. The Plan includes recommendations for new and existing park and recreational facilities, bicycle and pedestrian trails, and natural and open space areas. |WINTER PARKING AND SNOW REMOVAL REGULATIONS EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 1 TO MARCH 31|
Winter parking and snow removal regulations begin December 1 and continue thru March 31. Property owners that have fire hydrants located on their property must remove all snow and ice from a two foot radius around the hydrant within 24 hours of the last snowfall. If the hydrant is located on a lot line it will be the responsibility of the property to the north or east to ensure the hydrant is clear of snow and ice.
