In June 2009 the Village Board approved a Committee of the Whole assembly. Standing committees for Personnel, Public Works, Finance, and Public Safety are still appointed in April each year, but only meet as needed on concerns such as special projects, union negotiations, specific personnel issues, or current/future budget matters.
