Pool Updates

In an effort to ensure that you and your family have a safe and enjoyable experience at the pool, we ask that you observe the following:

Wristbands

For safety purposes wristbands must be worn to allow the pool staff to maintain pool capacity and track the number of daily patrons.

Weather Related Issues

The pool closes if lightning or severe weather warnings occur, or if the air temperature is below 68 degrees. Otherwise the facility will remain open.

Refunds

No refunds will be provided due to any reason for having to close the facility.

Pool Capacity & Facility Capacity

The Mt. Horeb Family Aquatic Center has a pool capacity of 337. The facility capacity will be set at 387 patrons in the fenced in pool area at one time. Once we reach capacity, we will not allow anyone else into the facility. We will allow people to enter as people leave for the day as they have their wristband cut off. Thank you for your cooperation.

Lap Swim

The pool staff will place a lane line in from 5:00pm until 6:30pm every day of the week, except on Tuesday, which is Family Night and during special events. Lap swim is FREE to discount pass holders, otherwise a $2.00 fee is required. LAP SWIMMERS ONLY. Must be 16 or older to participate in lap swim.

Safety Checks

The pool will be completely cleared at 3:00pm and 5:00pm for safety checks. This is a 15-minute break for all youth swimmers. This time is open for adult swim for anyone over the age of 18. If the temperature is at 90 degrees or above, there will be safety checks every hour to ensure the safety of all patrons.
