Electric, Water and Sewer -

The Village of Mt. Horeb provides electricity to the village of Mt. Horeb and to small portions of nearby townships. The wastewater treatment plant only services residents in the village. All utilities are owned and operated by the Village of Mt. Horeb, with the Mt. Horeb Utility Commission providing overall direction for their operation.

Bills can be paid at the Municipal Building, 138 E. Main Street, or by mail. There is a 3% penalty fee for late payment of bills.

The Madison Gas and Electric (MGE) provides natural gas to residents of the Mt. Horeb area. Rate information is available from the MGE office in Madison, and bills can be paid at the Amcore Bank or by mail.

The Mt Horeb Telephone Company, a locally owned company, provides telephone services to residents of the Mt. Horeb area.
