The Administrator is the Chief Administrative Officer of the Village and is responsible to the Village President and Village Board for the management of the Village's day-to-day operations. The Administrator supports the information and policy-making needs of the Board, implements Board decisions and directives, supervises all Village staff, and submits a proposed annual budget to the Board. Additional responsibilities include organizational development, economic development, community relations, intergovernmental relations, financial management, and human resources management. The position oversees approximately 50 employees and a budget of approximately $15 million.
Nicholas Owen was appointed as Village Administrator in 2015. He has served in the public sector for over 12 years and holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Public Administration, and an Executive Masters Degree in Public Administration.
