The Mount Horeb Façade Improvement Grant Program was created to provide financial assistance for a portion of costs associated with exterior building improvement projects that contribute to the visual appeal and viability of income-producing properties in downtown Mount Horeb, more specifically defined as the parcels and buildings within or immediately adjacent to the boundaries of Tax Increment District No. 5 (TID #5).  TID #5 consists of 144 parcels fronting primarily along Main, Front, and Lincoln Streets.

The Village is now accepting applications for the 2024 Residential Improvement Program. The program provides a matching grant up to $5000 for exterior improvements to residential properties within 1/2 mile of the TID 5 "Downtown TID" boundary. Additional details on the program are included in the Residential Exterior Program brochure. Grant applications are due by Monday April 1st.
