Successful applicants must have a Two-Year Associate Degree in Police Science or 60 college credits from a Wisconsin Vocational Education or Technical District or its accredited equivalent from another state. Applicants must be in good physical condition, have good moral character, and no felony or domestic violence convictions. U.S. Citizen and a valid Wisconsin driver’s license are also required. Applicants must be certified or certifiable with Wisconsin Law Enforcement Board.

A bulk item drop-off event will take place 8am-12 noon on Saturday, September 19 at the Village Garage, 301 Blue Mounds Street. $10.00 cash only fee. Village residents only – proof of residency required. Event is for residential vehicles (car, truck, or trailer). No businesses, contractors, or commercial vehicles such as U-Haul allowed. Drop off items that do not fit inside your garbage cart such as household furniture and carpeting. No auto parts, tires, hazardous items, solid/liquid waste, appliances, electronics, large amounts of construction material, or yard waste will be allowed.
An e-cycle event will take place 8am-12 noon on Saturday, September 19 at Sunrise Park, 119 Telemark Parkway. See brochure for fees and acceptable items.
