The Mount Horeb Public Services Department is responsible for the overall operation of 39 miles of Village streets, storm water, development and maintenance of  Village parks including the Family Aquatic Center, the Mount Horeb Station, which is the support building for the Military Ridge Trail, and Village-owned buildings.  The department also manages Village forestry including public-owned trees along Village streets and in Village parks, and performs yard waste, brush, and leaf pickup.

Mount Horeb’s park system includes a full range of developed facilities including neighborhood parks, community parks, and special use areas located throughout the community.  Parks and open space provide a number of key functions including meeting residents’ needs for recreation and aesthetics, protecting and enhancing the natural environment, shaping the extent and patterns of development, and enhancing the quality of life for all residents.


The Village of Mount Horeb will receive sealed bids for the referenced projects until 12:00 P.M., Thursday, June 17th, 2021, at the Village Office, 138 East Main Street, Mount Horeb, Wisconsin 53572. At that time, bids will be opened and read aloud.

Bids are to be addressed to the Village of Mount Horeb, ATTN: Village Clerk, Mount Horeb Village Hall, 138 East Main Street, Mount Horeb, Wisconsin 53572, and shall be marked “Sealed Bid – (Contract #, Contract Title)”.
